Important changes
1. Images in the playlist should be able to be opened in an external program/editor. In my case, I have a wide screen so I often need to adjust images to fit my screen. The built-in image resizing feature is nice but leaves spaces around the edges of my wallpapers.
2. Added option to automatically remove duplicate pictures from playlist
3. Quickly sort/move images in playlist to categories. You can customize the categories, for example: cars, movies, fantasy, 3D, landscapes
4. Dual monitor support (beta)

Fixed: (often) "List index out of bounds" error when miscellaneous functions of Playlist Editor were used and the playlist was empty.
Issue found: program may crash when user supply an invalid file name. Resolution: Ignored. User should run ScanDisk. Reason: OS error/hardware error
Fixed: (rare) failure to save cache DB to disk upon program shutdown
Fixed: (rare) failure to save playlist to disk upon program shutdown. Sometimes this resulted in a AV.

• Set double buffering for all controls in order to reduce flicker. Fixed

• At start up, two effects were simultaneous applied to the borders of the wallpaper if the program was set to "Fade borders to black". Fixed

I did not find version v6.10.13 - 1 Nov 2009 on the download page. But more interesting, I had a 6.1xx version running. Using it's check for updates button resulted in "No update is available at this moment" even though 6.10.13 is definately there. As well, the "Version at the web:" shows 0.0.0. This latter is still the case with my v6.8.12.641 version that I just installed.

The 6.10 version was released as RC (Release Candidate). The program will not find it until we upgrade its status from RC to Final - which will be soon. The version is now downloadable on the main Download page: http://www.bionixwallpaper.com/downloads/download.html

Note: Now all versions announced here are available for download immediately. The release must pass some tests before it is declared good enough for public.
