Where is the software installed? - SOLVED

I downloaded Word Extractor and after I close the program window I can't access it again. Where is the .exe located?

It is impossible to tell where the software was installed. Please ask the person that installed the software where it was installed.

To uninstall it, just remove its folder.

I installed the software. What is the name of the folder that would have been created? Then I can search for it. Thanks.

The path may depend on the system (especially the OS) and program version.

However there are two very easy solutions for you:

* install the software again (actually you don't have to finish the process) and see where it tries to install
OR
* if a shortcut was created on your desktop/start menu, you can invoke the "Properties" function on that shortcut to see where it points.

Okay... no desktop shortcut was created. I did have to install again which I had tried before. It put word-extractor.exe in the downloads directory under a folder named software. I searched for "word-extractor" yesterday and also just "word" and the word-extractor.exe was not found. Not sure what the issue was. I now search and I find it. I was concerned that it might be installed in more than one place now but the search is only showing one .exe file. So I don't think it got installed anywhere else. Thanks for your help.
